WHEREAS, John C. Northway ha~ served t~ City of Palo Alto frOll'I
October 1,1976 to February 8, 1982 as a lllellber of the Architectural Review
Board; and
WHEREAS, John c. Northway served as Chairman fror. De:!llber 7, 1978 to
Novetlber 6, 1980; and
WHEREAS, John C. Northt.·!.Y has ghen unselfishly of hf s tiwte, talents
and professiona• abilities to assist in guiding growth and dewelop111ent of the
City in the best interests of the t.otal c011111Unity; and
WHEREAS, John c. Northway nas made a s1gn1ficant personal
contribution to the c01111Unity through his diligent and conscientious efforts
while serving as a lltelber of the Architectural Review Board; and
WHEREAS. tha Cf ty of Palo Al to wf shes to recognize the service of
John C. Northway;
NOW. THEREfORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereb) gratefully records its appreciation, as well as the
appreciation of the citizens of the cc:M111Unfty, for f'Utstand1ng public service
rendered by John C. Northway.
