RESOLUTION or TB! COUNCIL OF TSE CITY OF P~LO ALTO
ADOPTING ~ COMPBNSAT~?N PLAN POR CLASSIFIED P~RSONNEL
(SElU) AND R8SCIND1~G RESOLUTION NO. 5793 AS AMENDED
BY RESOLUTION NO. 5901 AND RESOLUTION NO. 5938
The Council of the City of ~alo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the prQvisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of tte City of Palo ~lto, the C~mp£nsation Plan, as
set forth in Exhibit •"• attached hereto and me.de a part hereof by
reference, hereby is adopted for classified personnel effective the
beginning of the pay period including May 1, 1982.
SECTION ~. The Compensation Plan adopted herein shall be adminis-
tered by the City Manager in accordance with the Merit System Rules and
Regulations.
SECTION 3. The Compensation Plan shall continue in effect until
amended or revoked by the Council.
SHCTION 4. The City Contro!ler hereby is autho~ized to implement
the Compensation Plan adopted herein in his preparation of forthcoming
payrolls. He is further authorized to make changes in the titles of
eJQPloyee classifications identified in the Table of Authorized Person-
nel contained in the 1981-82 budget if such titles have been changed in
th~ Co11penoation Plan.
SECTION 5. Resolution No. 5793 as amended by Resolution No. 5901
and Resolution 5938 as lo classified personnel hereby are rescinded.
SECTION 6. The Council finds that this is not a project under the
California Environmental Quality Act and, therefore, no environmental
impac~ assessment is necessary.
