RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
KATHLEEN COHEN
FOR ()JTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A f'EMBER OF
THE VISUAL ARTS JURY
ORIGINAL
WHEREAS, Kathleen Cohen has served the City of Palo Alto from April 1976 to
January 1982; and
WHEREAS, Kathleen Cohen has been a charter member of the Visual Arts Jury; and
WHEREAS, Kathleen Cohen has given unselfishly of her ti mt= and talents tr assist
in guiding the growth and development of tha City1 s public art program; and
WHEREAS, Kathleen Cohen has made a significant contr1but1o:i to the c011111unity
through her diligent and conscientious efforts while serving as a member of the Visual
Arts Jury; and
WHEREAS, Kathleen Cohen has participated in the selection and acquisition of
works of art for the Cit; of Palo Alto thruugh the Art in Public Plac~s program; and
WHEREAS, the City of P<!.lo Alto wishes to recognize the service of Kathleen
Cohen.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Palo Alto
hereby gratf:fully records its appreciation, as well as the appreciation of the
citizens of the coonuni ty, for the outstanding public ser-1ice renderP.d by Kathleen
Cohen.
