ESTABLISHING INCOME LlMITS POR RECIPIBNTS or LOANS
ONDBR TBB HOUSING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND 'TBB t«>N-
PROrIT FACILITY RBBABILrTATION PROG!lAJli
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Law 93-381, COllll'~nly kn~wn as
•'J.'he Bousinq and Community £\"· •elopment Act of 1974• (as amended
from time to time, ~ie •Act•), the ~ity of Palo Alto receives a
block gr&nt, a portion of whi~h is used to fund programs to pro-
vide low··inter.est loans to City-approved applicants for the Hous-
ing Improvement Program and tee Non-Profit Facility Rehabilitation
Program; and
WBBRBAS, the Act provides that the Secretary of the Housing
and Urban Development Department shall ~stablish program guide-
1 ines for the uae of such 9rants1 and
lfBBRBAS, said Secretary has established a formula by which to
calculate the aasi•WI incoMe limits for ~.he ultimate recipients of
•uch grant funds; and
WBBRBAS, the Departaent of Housing and Orban Development has
recen~ly updated these !nco•e 1iaits to reflect the current incoRe
levels of residents of Santa tlara County1
