RE SOL UT ION 5999
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
MARY E. ROLLER UPON HER RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, Mary E. Roller retired on February 1, 1982, as a
police office assistant after 14-1/2 years of continuous service with
the Palo Alto Police Department; and
WI-IE REAS, Mary was appci nted to the rank of Matron-Cl erk on
July 1, 1968; and
WHEREAS, Mary has served as a public servant for Santa Clara
County and the City of Palo Alto for a total of 29 years; and
WHEREAS,
peers; and
Mary• s job knowledge has consistently impressed her
WHEREAS, she was conscientious, an inspiration to others in her
ability to handle all types of people and situations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is proud of her work performance and
appreciative of her efforts and dedication.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its apprecidtion of the citizens
o f t h i s c o mm u n i t y for fa i t hf u 1 s er v i c e rendered to t he C i t y and
extends to Mary E. Roller its sincere best wishes for a long and
happy retirement.
