The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as fellows:
SECTION l. Pursuant to Section 12.20.010 of the Palo Alto K~nicipal Code, Schedule E-6 (Unmetered Electric Service) of the
Palo Alto Utilities Rates and Charges he~eby i~ hereby established
to read as shown on Sheets E-6-1 and E-o-2, respectively, attached
hereto and incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. This Council finds that the revenue derived from
the authorized adjustments of said eler.tric rates by the City ~na
ger shall be used only for the purposes set forth in the Palo Alto
City Charter, Article VII, Section 2, eatitled "Public Utilities
Re~enueN. The adoption of this Resolution is, therefore, specif-
ically exempted under Public Resources Code Section 21080 (b) (8)
from the requirements of CEQA.
SECTION 3. The foregoing rate schedule shall b~come effective
July 1, 1989.

In the event a custoaer requests electric service which the Utility
determines will be an unmetered service, the Utility will charge an
inter!. rate reflectinq the Utility's estimated costs associated with
the specific service. The utility Bay cb.arqe an existing rate contained
on this Rate Schedule ~or an identical or similar type service, or
prepare a new rate. This interim rate will serve as the effective rate
for billing purposes until the service type is added to Rate Schedule E-6.
