RESQLUiION Of THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSJN& APPRECIATION TO LINN VINTERBOTHM FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MDIBER OF THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS, Linn Winterbotham has served the City of Palo Alto as a
member of the Architectural R~view Board from October 1, 1984 to October I,
1988; and
WHEREAS, Linn Winterbotham has been an active member of the
Architectural Review Board by serving as Vice-Chairman from October 1985 to
September 1986, and as Chainnan from October 1986 to September 1987; and
WHEREAS, Linn Winterbotham has actively participated in various
subcommittees such as the Civic Center Plaza Subcommittee and has served as
the Architectural Review Board representative to the Planning C01111iss1on,
Historic Resources Board and Visual Arts Jury; and
WHEREAS, Linn Winterbotham has unselfishly contributed his knowledge and experience in the field of landscape architecture to Board deliberations,
and has assisted the Board in articulating its positions on the many design
issues it considers; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to acknowledge and th~nk Linn
Winterb\>tham for his personal coaaiblent to the conmunity and interest in
architec.tural design review and for his significant personal efforts and
substantial dedication as a llember of the Architectural Review Board;
NOii, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby gratefully records and extends its sincere appreciation and
the appreciation of the c01111Un1ty to Linn Vinterbotham for his faithful and
excellent service rendered to the City.
