HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 6759ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. 6759 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO AL'fO ADOPTING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE FOR DESIGNATED POSITIONS AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 2.09.010 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL CODE AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 6670 WHEREAS, Section 2.09.GlO requires that this Council adopt a l~st of designated positions and each position's required disclosure responsibilities for the Conflict of Interest Code for Designated Employees; and WHEREAS, in 1979, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5738 enumerating designated positions and disclosure responsibilities for each designated position and said Resolution has been amended from time to time to include additional positions; and WHEREAS, in 1988, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 6670 to include additional positions in this list of designated employees~ and WHEREAS, new officers and employees have been added to and deleted from City staff, and duties and respcnsibilities among existing officers and employees have shifted, and the Council desires to change and augment the list of designated positions to reflect these changes1 NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. That Resolution No. 6670 is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. That the following positions are designated positions for the City of Palo Alto's Conflict of Interest Code for Designated Employees. The disclosure responsibilities are set forth adjacent to each designated position.
