UTION NO. 6755 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ORDERING WEED NUISANCE ABATED WHEREAS, this Council did on December 19, 1988, adopt its Resolution No. 6747 declaring weeds to be a nuisance and setting January 17, 1989, at 7:30 P.M., in the Civic Center as the ti'flle and place for a hearing of objections to the proposed destruction or removal of weeds: and WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolutior. No. of such hearing was given in the r.ianner provided appears from the affidavits on file in the Office Clerk; and 0747, notice by law, as of the City WHEREAS, no interested persons appeared or filed written objections against said proceedings or any part thereof, a 11 persons des iring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard, and all matters and things pertaining to said weed abate- ment were fully heard and considered by this Council; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. Any and all objections to the proposed destruc- tion or removal of such weeds be, and each of them hereby is, overruled. SECTION 2. The Fire Chief hereby is ordered to abate such nuisance, or cause the same to be abated by means of Contract No. 3820 for that purpose ~ith the County of Santa Clara, and as pro- vided in Chapter 8.08 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, and to do all things necessary and authorized in said chapter. SECTION 3. The Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that none of the provisions of this resolution will ha~e a significant adverse environmental impact.
