ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 18.08.040 OF THE PALO ALTO
MUNICIPAL CODE (THE ZONING MAP) TO CHANGE THE
CLASSIFICATION OF A PORTION OF PROPERTY
COLLECTIVELY KNOWN AS "CHANNING PARK TRACT 883
AND TRACT 909" FROM R-1 TO R-1(S)
The Council of the City of Palo o does ORDAIN as
SECTION 1.
A. The Planning Commission, after duly noticed hearing
held June 14, 2000, has recommended aga amendment of
section 18.08.040 [the Zoning Map] of the Palo Alto Muni Code
as hereinafter set forth; and
B. The City Council, after due cons of the
recommendation, finds that the proposed amendment is public
interest and will promote the public health, safety and welfare.
SECTION 2. Section 18.08.040 of the Palo to Municipal
Code, the "Zoning Map," is hereby amended by changing the zoning of
a portion of certain property, collectively known as Channing Park
Tract 883 and Tract 909" (the "subj ect property"), from "R-1
Single-family Residence" to "R-1(S) Single-family Residence,
Single-Story Height Combining." The subject property is shown on
the map labeled Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference.
