ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 5.20.290 OF CHAPTER 5.20 OF TITLE
5 [HEALTH AND SANITATION] OF THE PALO ALTO
MUNICIPAL CODE PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FOR
VIOLATION OF REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE COLLECTION,
REMOVAL~ AND DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTE AND
RECYCLABLE MATERIALS
The Council of the City of Palo Al to does ORDAIN as
SECTION 1. Section 5.20.290 of Chapter 5.20 of Title 5 of
the Palo Alto Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
5.20.290 Penalty for violation.
Violations of any provision of this chapter shall be
subject to the provisions and penalties set forth in Title 1 of
this code.
SECTION 2. The City Council finds that this ordinance is
not a project for purposes of the California Environmental Qua ty
Act.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon the
commencement of the thirty-first day after the date of its passage.
