ORDINANCE NO. 4721
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO
ALTO AMENDING SECTION 18.08.040 OF THE PALO ALTO
MUNICIPAL CODE (THE ZONING MAP) TO CHANGE THE
CLASSIFICATION OF A PORTION OF THAT PROPERTY
KNOWN AS TRACT 1371 FROM R-1 TO R-1(S)
The Council of the City of Palo Al to does ORDAIN as
SECTION 1.
A. The Planning Commission, after duly noticed
hearing held August 8, 2001, has recommended that section
18.08.040 [the Zoning Map] of the Palo Alto Municipal Code be
amended as hereinafter set forth; and
B. The City Council, after due consideration of the
recommendation, finds the proposed amendment is the
public interest and will promote the public health, sa and
welfare.
SECTION 2. Sect 18.08.040 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code, the "Zoning Map," reby amended by changing the zoning
of a portion of that p rty known as Tract 1371 (the" ect
property") , from "R-1 Single-family Residence" to "R-1 (S)
Single-family Residence, Single-Story Height Combining. II The
subject property is shown on the map labeled Exhib "A"
attached hereto and incorpo herein by reference.
SECTION 3. The City Council finds that this project will
not have a significant environment effect.

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be effective on
thirty-first day r the date of s adoption.
