Ordinance of the Council of the City of Palo Alto to Grant Funds to be Received from the County
of Santa Clara Ordinance of the Council of the'City Of Palo Alto Amending the Budget for Fiscal
Year 2014 to Provide Additional Appropriation of $16,940 for Incident Command Training for
Fire Department Personnel, and to Increase the Estimate for Local Revenue in the Amount of
$16,940 to Reflect Grant Funds to be Received from the County of Santa Clara
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III of the Charter of the City
of Palo Alto, the Council on June 10, 2013 did adopt a budget for Fiscal Year 2014.
SECTION 2. The sum of Sixteen Thousand Nine Hundred Forty Dollars ($16,940) is hereby
appropriated for Incident Command Training in the Fire Department and the estimate for Local Revenue
is correspondingly increased.
SECTION 3. As specified in Section 2.2B.OBO(a) of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, a two-
thirds vote of the City Council is required to adopt this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. As provided in Section 2.04.330 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, this
ordinance shall become effective upon adoption.
SECTION 5. The Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby finds that this is not a project under
the California Environmental Quality Act and, therefore, no environmental impact assessment is
necessary.
