Project (PE-06005) to cover the shortage funding; and
G. City Council authorization is needed to amend the
2008 09 budget to make available the funds required for CIP
Project PE-06005, University Avenue Gateway Landscaping
Improvements and reduce funding for PE-06006, Alma Street
Landscape Improvements -Phase 1i and
=======-=. The sum of Fifty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred
Twenty Dollars ($58,920) is hereby appropriated to CIP Project
PE-06005, University Avenue Gateway Landscaping Improvements.
SECTION 3. The appropriation for CIP Project PE-06006,
Alma Street Landscape Improvements -Phase 1 is hereby reduced
by fty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty Dollars ($58,920).
SECTION 4.The transactions above will have no impact on

Palo Alto Municipal Code, a two-thirds vote of the City
Council is required to adopt this ordinance.
SECTION 6. As provided in on 2.04.330 of the Palo
Alto Municipal Code, this ordinance shall become effective
upon adoption.
SECTION 7. The Council of City of Palo Alto hereby
finds that this project is exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act under Sections 15301 and
15304, and therefore, no environmental impact assessment is
necessary.
