Ordinance of the Council of the City of Palo Alto
Dedicating 36.5 Acres of Land Adjacent to Baylands Nature Preserve
For Park, Playground, Recreation or Conservation Purposes
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 22.08.420 of Chapter 22.08 of Title 22 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code is hereby added to read, as follows:
22.08.420 ITT Antenna Field Addition to Baylands Nature Preserve.
That certain parcel of land known as the ITT Antenna Field (addition to Baylands Nature
Preserve), as delineated and described in Exhibit A29 and attached hereto, is hereby reserved
for park,
SECTION 2. The Council hereby finds that dedication of this site as parkland is exempt
Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility
that it will have a significant impact on the environment. In addition, the adoption of this
ordinance is exempt under CEQA Guidelines Section 15308 because it is an action to assure the
maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protection of the environment.

All of that certain real property situate in the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of
California, and being more particularly described as follows:
