ORDINANCE NO. 2531
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNC!L OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1969--1970 TO
MAKE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE DOWNTOWN PARK
· NORTH OF UNIVERSITY AVENUE / PROJECT 66-12
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council did on June 23,
1969, adopt a budget for the fiscal year 1969-1970; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to make an additional appropriation
in excess of the sum appropriated by said budget for the Downtown Park
North of University Avenue, Project 66-12.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECTION 1. That the appropriation in the Capital Improvement
Fund for the acquisition and improvement of the Downtown Park -''North
of University Avenue (Project 66-12) be increased from Five Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($500,000) to Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000)
and that the unappropriated balance of the Capital Improvement Fund
be decreased in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000).
