AMENDING SUBSF.CTlON {7} OF SECTION 5,20.010 AND
SUBSECTION (a) OF SECTION 5.20.230 OF THE PJ\LO ALTO
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO REFUSE COLLECTION ANb
DISPOSAL
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does OPDJUN as foliovis:
$ECTION 1. That subsection (7) of Secticn 5.20.010 (Defini
tions) of the Palo Alto Municipal Code is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"(7) 1 Standard container' means a metallic or plastic
can ~ith close fitting,cover, cover handle and side bails
of thirty-two gallons or less gross capacity, or such other
_container aS ri\ay be approved by the ·:ity enqineer, II
SECTtON 2~ 'That subsection (a) of Section 5.20.230 (Schedule
of fees for the use of the sanitary refuse disposal area) of the
Palo Alto Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as-follows:
11 (a) The following schedule of fees shall apply to the
use of the city's sanitary refuse disposal area~
