Section 10.60.030 of the Palo Alto ~unicioal --;--- Code is hereby amended to read as follows: ~10.60.030 Unlawful parking. It shall be unlawful for any person to cause, allow, permit or·suffer any vehicle registered in his name or operated or con­ trolled by him to be parked· in any ~arking soace upon any street or in any city-owned parking lot within a parking meter zone adjacent to which a park­ ing meter· is established: (1.) For more than the time indicated by oroper signs placed in such _parking meter zone indicating the maximum parking time aliowed in such parking space or any time during which the meter is disolay­ ing a signal indicating that that space is illegallv in use except during the time necessary to set the said meter to show legal parking and exceoting also during the time from six p.m. to eight a.m. and on Sundays and holidays. . _ (2) Whenever a citation has been issued for a violation of subdivision (1) hereof, and such standing or parking continues for an additional period of time eoual to the maximum time allowed in such park1ng meter zone.,, SECTION 2. (f) -If any permit is issued for a lot upon which all spaces are metered, the holder of such a permit may park in any such metered space upon the lot and ·.the proper display of such permit shall be deemed compliance with Section 10.60.030.11 · SECTION 3.
