ORDlNANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUOGE 1r FOR THE FIS~ . .a.L YEAR 1968-1969
TO MAI<~ AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO IMPLEMEN~
THE FOOTHILLS ENVIRONMENTAL DESlGN STUD1
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Section 12of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council did on
June 10, 1968 adopt a budget for the fiscal year 1968~1969; and.
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to make an additional appropri
ation in excess of the sums appropriated by said budget in order
to implem~nt·the Foothills Environmental Design Study.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
" SEC·l'ION I . That the appropriation in the General Fund
Outside Services Account of the Planninq Deoartment be increased
in the amount of One hundred fourteen thom;and dollars ($114, 000}
and that the Account "Transfer to Ca~ital Improvement Fund" be
correspo~dingly decr~ased.
SECT!ON.2. That th:i.s ordinance shall become effective

immediately as provided in Sectior{ i2 of Article iII of the
Charter and Section 2.04.375 of ·the Palo Alto.Municipal Code.
