ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO

AMENDING '11HE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1968-1969
TO MAKE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF THE CIVIC CENTER, PROJECT NO. 65-06
WHEREAS, pursuant ·to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo P.1 t.o, the Council dfd on
June 10, 1969, adopt.a budget for the fiscal year 1968-19691 and
WHEREAS, the·Council wishes t.o make an additional.appropriation
in excess of the sums ~ppro~riated by said budget for ~he cortstructiori
of the Civic Center, Project 65-06.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECTION 1. That the appropriation in the Capital Improvement
Fund for the construction of the Civic Center, Project· 65-06, be
increased from $4,430,837 to $4,463,337 and that the Unappropriated
Balance of the Capital Improvement Fund be correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2. That this ord'inance· shall become effective imrttedi-
ately pursuant to Subsection 3 of section 2.04.375 of the Palo Alto
Municipal Code.
