ORDINANCE NO. 2493
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOF THE FISCAL YEAR 1968-1969
TO MAKE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE CITY'S
CONTRI&UTION·TO CONSTRUCTION PROJECT NO. 67-3,
MISCELLANEOUS S'rREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursua_ilt to· the provisions of Section 12 of
Article III of the Charter 6f the City of Palo Alto, th~ Council
did on June 10, 1968 adopt a budget for the fiscal year 1968-
1969; and
t'lHEREAS, the Council wishes to make an additional appro-
priation in excess of the sums appropriated by said budget for
the City 1 s contribution to Project No. 67-3, Miscellaneous
Street Improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The appropriation iQ the Capital Improvement
Fund for the City's share of Miscellaneous Street Improvements
is increased from Twenty-seven thousand dollars ($27 ,ooo.) to
Thirty:-five thcms~nd six hundred ninety-·bne dollars ($35,691)
and,~.that the unaopropriated balance of the Capital Improvement
·. "~ .....
Fund is correspondingly decreased. . ' .
SECTION2. The appropriation in the sewer Fund for Capital
Purchasec. ls increased :f1•orri Twenty;,_two thousand three. hundred
dollars ($22;300) to Thirty-seven thousand two hundred twenty-
. six dollars . ($37 ,226L ~nq .:that the Capital Reserve is corres
pondingly decreased.
SECTION J •. This ordinance shall become effeq-tive immediately
