ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PAI...O ALTO AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE
~ ,_
FISCAL YEAR 1968-69 TO MAKE AN ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION. OF THE
BAYLANDS INTERPRETIVE CENTER; PROJECT-NO. 66-19
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions 0£ Section 12 of Article Ill
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council did on June 10, 1968
adopt a budget for the fiscal year 1968:-1969, and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to make an a.dditional appropriation
in excess of the sums appropriated by said b_udget for construction of the
· Baylands Interpretive Center (Project 66-19).
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. That the appropriation in the Capital Improvement
. Fund for the Baylands Interpretive Center (Project 66-19) be increased
f~oin One Hundred Fifty Thousand Doll~rs ($150, 000) to One Hundred
Sixty-Three Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($163~ 300); and that the
Unappropriated Balance oi: the Capital Improvement Furid be decreased
in the net amount of $13, 300.00.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall become eHe::>tive inune-
diately as provided in Section 12 ~f Article Ill of the Cha.rter and Section
2. 04. 375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
