IRIGINAL ORDINANCE NO. 2481 ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 22.080020 TO DELETE THEREFROM CERTAIN LANOS DEDICATED FOR PARK, PLAYGROUND, RECREATION OR CONSERVATION PURPOSES (JOINT SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT) WHEREAS, pursuant to Article VIII of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the council passed Ordinance No. 2252 (now Chapter 22.08 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code) setting forth in separately numbered sectioris the common name or other designation and the legal description of those lands owned or controlled by the City which are used or intended to be used for park purposes; and WHEREAS, on November 5, 1968 the voters of the City of Palo Alto in, an election duly called and held pursuant to Article ' ' VIII of the Charter, voted to discontinue for ?ark, playground, recreation or conservation purposes the use.of certain lands dedicated to said ~ses arid set forth in said Chapter 22008; NOW, THEREFORE, the council oft.he City of Palo Alto does ' ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. Section 22.QS.020 of the PAMC is hereby amended by deleting from the parcel kno:wn: as Byxbee Park and city-owned Baylar.ds that portion of said parcel describet.l in EXHIBIT A at- ., tached hereto, and the City Engineer .:ts~' directed to so indicate On Exhibit A-2 to section 22'~ 08. 020. SECTION 2. The land describ~d in EXHIBIT A attached hereto is deemed held by·the City of Palo-Alto ih fee. The City may sell or otherwise dispose of said ·1ands in ·the same manner as it may dispose of other property of.-.. the City no longer required for municipal purposes. SECTION 3. Except' as here.in above amended, -Chapter 2 2 <> 0 8 of .; the PAMC shall remain in full force and effect., - 1 • SECTION 4.
