ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING CHAPTER 2£ ~ 08 (PARK DEDICA1'IONS) OF 'I'HE
PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO SECTION

22.08.211 ENLA~GING RINCONADA PARK

The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 22. 08. 211 be added to the Palo Alto
Municipal Code to read as follows:
11 22.08.211 Rinconada Park Addition. The parcel
of land delineated" and descrihed in ~XIirBIT A-17~1
attached hereto is hereby reserveil for park, playground,
recreation or ~onservation use, 3nd ie hereby made a
part of Rinconacla Park."
SECTION 2. All of the provisions of Chapter 22.08 of thP
Palo Alto :Municipal Code shall apply to Section 22.08.211 with
the same force and effect as though said section were originally
included therein.
SECTION 3. This oruinance shall become effective upon the
expit"ation-o:f thtrty days from its passage.

FOR PARK PURPOSES
BEGINNING at a point in the southerly line of Hopklns Avenue. being
distant thereon westerly 140 feet from the point of intersection thereof with
the westerly line of Newell Road; thence southerly, parallel with said west-
erly line, l 16 feet; thence easterly, parallel with said southerly line, 75
feet; thence southe-.dy, parallel with said westerly line 89 feet; thence east-
erly, parallel with said southerly line, 65 feet to a point on said westerly
line, being distant thereon southerly 205 feet from said pi>int of interoection;
t!1ence southerly, along said westerly line 95 feet; thence westerly, parallel
with said southerly line, 132. feet; rr<n-e or less, to a point on. the easterly
line of Rinconat;Ia Park as described nn Exhibit A-17 cf Ordinance No. 2230

adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto on April 12, 1965; thence
northwesterly along said easterly line 110 feet, more or less to a fence cor-
ner; thence in a. general northerly direction.along said fence line 189 feet;
thence northeasterly 30 feet, more or less to a p~fAt on said southerly line
of Hopkins Avenue; thence easterly along said southerly line 30 feet to the
point of beginnine, being a portion of Block 109, University Park, recorded
October 23, 1907 in Volume L of, .Maps, Page 98, Recor<ls of Santa Clara
County, California.
