ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL·OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING AND ADOPTING A PLAN FOR THE·DEVELOPMENT
OF PORTIONS OF RINCONADA PARK
WHEREAS, Section 5 or Article VIII of the Charter of the
City of Palo Alto requ'lres that before any substantiat-·bui.lding,
construction, reconstruction or development -:is commenced or
approved upon or with respect to any land.held by the City for
park purposes the Council shail first cause to be prepared and
by ordinance approve and a~opt a plan theref~r; and
·WHEREAS, the City Council has placed Rinconada Park, with

an addition thBreto, on the list of lauds used or intended to be
used for park purposes; and
WHEREAS, the.Council proposes to proceed with development
of portions of Rinconada Park including said addition to ih~ park,
pursua.nt to a pla,n prepared therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. That the plan attached her·eto, marked EXHIBIT A,
identified as 11 Rinconada Park Development" be and the same hereby
is approved and adopted.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall· become effective upon the
expiration of thirty days from its passage.
