ORDINANCE NO. 2448
ORDINANCE OF TiiE COUNCIL.OF.THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING AND ADOPTING A PlAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT
OF JUANA BRIONES PARK, PROJECT 65-2
WHEREAS, Section 5 of Articfe VIII ~f the Charter of
the City of Palo Alto· requires that before any substantial

· building, construction, reconstruction or development is.
c~enced or approved upon or with respect to any·land held
by the City for park purposes the Council shall first cause
to be prepared and by ordinance approve and adopt a plan
therefore; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did by Ordinance No. 2300,
, adopted July 25, 1966, add Arastradero Road Park (new named
Juana Briones Park) to the list of lands used or intended to
be used for park purppses as set forth in Ordinance No. 2252,
adopted September 13, 1965; • ~i-1d
WHEREAS,. the Cc>Uncil proposes to proceed witfi d~\·~lopment
of Juan~ Briones Park pursuant to a plan prepared therefor.
NOW; _THEREFORE, the Council Of the City of Palo. Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTIO~ 1. That the.plan attach~~ hereto, marked EXHIBIT.
A, identified as 0Dev'elopment Plan J~i1a Bi'ion~s Park" be and
the: sau,ie is hereby approved. and a·dopt ed.
SECTtON 2.. .This ordinance shall bec·cnie e'ffective upon the
