AMENDING SECTION 2.08.100 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE TO DESIGNATE THE DAY FOLLOWING THANKSGIVING-DAY -

The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION L Section· 2.08.100 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2.08.100 !!f>lidays and ·other Special Days.
a. Regular Holid~~· The.follow~ng days are
declarea to be hoiiday8 on which municipal business
of the City shall be suspended:
Every Saturday and Sunday
January 1st
February 22nd
May 30th
July 4th
Labor Day
September 9th
November 11th
Thanl<sgiving Day and. the day fo·llowing
December 25th
In the event that any of the aforementioned days,
except Sunday itself, falls on ~unday,, the follow-.
ing Monday shall be crnsidered ~'holiday. In the
eveht that any of the·aforementioned days, except
Saturday.itself, falls on Saturday, the preceding
Friday shall be considered a holiday. ·
