ORDINANCE NO. 2446
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF PALO ALTO\
AMENDING THE Bt!nGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1968·1969
TO MAKE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF nIE MITCHELL PARK RECREATION CENTER, PROJECT 66-15
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of
Article III of the Charter of the Ci~y of Palo Alto, the
Council did on June 10, 1968, adopt a budget for the fiscal
year .196 a-196 9; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes t~ make_ a'n additional ap.;..
propt:i;a.tion in excess of the sums· appropriated by said budget
for the construction of the Mitchell Park Recreation Center,
Project 66-15.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. That the appropriation in the Capital Improve
ment Fund for the construction of the Mitchell Park Recreation
Center (Project 66~15) be increased from Three hundred thousand
dollars ($300,000).to three hundred fifty-five thousand dollars
'($355,000) and that the Unappropriated Balance of the Capital
Improvement ~·~~~~ be correspond1.ngly d~.::reased.

SECTION 2~ 'That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately pursuant to Section 2 ~·04. 375 of the :Palo Alto: ·Municipal
Code.
