AMENDING THE BUDGET.FOR THE Fi".SCAL YEAR 1967-1968
TO MAKK ~ ADDI'l'lONAL A~PROPRIATION FOR TH,F.._-CON -
STRUCTION OF THE ATHLETIC CENTER, PROJECT KO. 66-..18
\ WHEREAS, pursuant to· th~ provisions of Section 12 of
Article III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council
did on July 10, 196 7 adopt a budget for the fiscal ·year 1967-
1968; and

WHERFAS, the Council wishes to make an aqditlonal appro-
oriation in excess of the sums appropriated by said budget for
construction of the Athletic Center (Project 66-18).
NOW. THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. That the appropriati0n in the Capital Improve
ment Fund for the Bayland Athletic Center (Project 66-18) be
increased from Three Hundred ThOusand Dollars ($300,000) to
Three Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($325,000); and _that
the Unappropri~t,ed Balan~~, of the Capital Improvement Fund be
decreased in the net amount of ~$~5.,000.QO.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance.shall become effective

immediately as providea·in Section 12 of Articl~ lII of .the
Charter and Section_ 2.04~175. of the Paio Alto' Municipal ~ode.
