ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1967•68 TO
MAKE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE PURCHASE
. OF MATERIALS FOR UTILITY REPLACEMENTS li~OR EL CAMINO
REAL WIDENING, PROJECT 64-1
w11EREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 -of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council did bri
July 10, 1967, adopt a budget for the fiscal year 1967-68; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to make an additional appropria
tion in excess of the sums appropriated by said budget for the
purchase of materials for utility replacements for El CaminoReal
Widening, Project 64-L
NOW, THEREFORE, the Counc'il of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as fo~lows:
SECTION 1. That the appropriation in the Water Fund for
Materials be increased _from Ninety-seyen Thm .. ~sand One· Hundred
Twenty Dollars ($97,120.00) to One Hundred Thirty-two ·Thousand
One Hundred Twenty Dollars ($132,120.00) and that the Transfer to
the General Funn be correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2. That the appropriation in the Gas Fund for
Materials be increased ·from Fifty-four Thousand Eight Hundred
Eighty Dollars ($54,880.00) to Sixty-four Thou&and Eight Hundred
Eighty Dollars ($64,880~00) ~nd tha.t the Transfer to the General
~.~ ~ ·~
·Fund be correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
