ORDINANCE NO. 2416
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12.16,020 OF
CHAPTER 12 .16 OF TITLE 12 OF T".tIE PALO ·ALTO -
MUNICIPAL CODE BY ESTABLISHING UNDERGROUND
--UTILITIES DISTRICT NO. 6
The council. of the 'city of Palo Alto, California, does ordain as
follows:
WHEREAS, this Council did, on February 5, _1968, adopt its Resolu~
tion of Intention No-. 40'"/4 to establish Urniergrotind Utility Dlstrict _
No. (i in said City and appointed Monday, t.he 11th day of March~ 1968,-at
the hour of ·?:30 o'clock P.M. -in the Council Cha.inbers,-City Hall, Palo
ing evidence f'or and· against said prpposed action and directing notice;
WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated-in
the manner provided bylaw, ~s appears from the effidavits on file :tn
the office of the City Clerk;
W.dEREA.S, said matter came ori regularly for hearing at. th~ time
therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communications
were publicly-read ats9.id meeting and evidence duly taken and all per
sons desiring to be heard were fully heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND,. DETERMINED·and.ORDEim;D}'as follows:
1. The public necessity, health a.nd aa:f'ety require the removal
