ORDINANCE or THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1967-68 TO
MAKE AN APJllTip~AL ·APPROPRIATION FOR ACQUISITION
OF THE CORTE MADRRA RESERVOIR SITE AND ACCESS
ROADWAY, PROJECT 64-7
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of
Article III of the Charter of the City of Palo Altoj the
Council did on July 10, 1967, adopt a budget for the fiscal
year 1967-68; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to make an additional
appropri3tion in excess of the sums appropriated by said budget
for the Acquisition of the Corte Mad~ra Reservoir Site and
Access Roadway, Project 64-7.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION L That the approrriation in the Water Fund for
·capi.tal Purchases be increased ftom Four Thousand Dollars
($4,000) to Twenty-Four Thous~ri<l Dollars ($24,000) and that the
Water fund Reserve for' Capital Additions be correspondingly de
creased.
SECTION 2L That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately pu·rsuant t~; Section 12 of Article III of the Charter.
