ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUD<;ET FOR THP. FISCAL YF.AR 1967-1968
TO Mli.KE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPPIATION FOR C0NSTRUCT!ON
OF THE CIVIC CENTER, PP.O,TECT 65-06
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
1II of the charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council did on
July 10, 1967, adopt a budget for the fiscal year 1967-1968; and
WHEFEAS, the council wishes to make an additional appropria~
:tion in excess of the sums appropriated by said budget for the
construction of the Civic Center, Project 65-06;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECT!O~l 1. That the appropriation in the Capital tmprov,ement
Fund for the construction of the Civic Center (Project 65-06) be
increased from Three Million Six Hundred Thirty-two Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($3,612,500) to

unappropriated oalance of the Capital Improvement Fund be decreased
in the ~mount of $698.337 , and .. 1·.at the amount of $61, 770. 00
be transferred from the Reserve for Parking Improvements of the
General Fund to the Capital Improvement Fund.

That this ordinance shall become effective immedi-
ately pursuant to Section 2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
