ORDii~ANCE OF THE COUNClL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 2.04.140 OF TITLE 2 OF THE PALO
ALTO MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING. TO COUNCIL PROCEDURE ,·
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as fol-
SECTION l. Section 2.04.140 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follow·s:
"2.04.140 Addressint the council after motiori made.
After a motion is beore tfie council. no person-:siiarl
address the council without first securing the permission
of the council so to do, subject to.approval of the
council 1 s legal adviser with respect to any hearing re
quired by law."
SECTION 2. This ord.inance shall become effective upon the
expiration of thirty days from i ·ts passage.
