ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 18.08.040 OF THE PALO ALTO
NJNICIPAL CODB (THB ZONING MAP) TO CHANGE THE ZONE
CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 795 EL
CAMINO RBAL PROM CS TO PF
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SBGTIOH 1. ~e City Council finds as follows:
A. The Planning Commission, after duly noticed public
hearing held on November 29, December 6, and December 12, 1995, has
recomnended that the Council amend Section 18.08.040 of the Palo
A1 to M':Jni c ipal Code (the w Zoning I~p" ) .
B. Upon consideration of said recommendation and of all
testimony· offered upon the matter, the Council finds that the
public interest, health, safety and welfare require an amendment to
the Zoning Map as hereinafter set forth.
~EQTION 2. Section 18.08. 040 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code { th.e ~Zoning Map") is hereby a.rnended by changing the zone
classification of certain property located at 795 El Camino Real
from •cs (Service Commercial)" to "PF (Public Facilities)" as shown
on Exhibit wA" attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference ..
SECTION 3~ The Council adopts this ordinance in accordance
with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) findings
adopted by Resolution No. 7569.

SiCTIQN 4. This ordinance shall be effective on the
thirty-first day after the day of its adoption; provided that, if
by that date the City Council has not authorized execution, on
behalf of the City, of the First Amendment to the Development
Agreement between the City and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation,
and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation has not executed said First
Amendment to the Development Agreement, then this resolution shall
become void, and shall r~ve no force and effect.
