ORDINANCE NO. 4326
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1995-96 BUDGET TO AUTHORIZE A DOMESTIC PARTNERS REGISTRY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June
19, 1995 did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1995-96, which included
the Municipal Fee Schedu1e; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Fee Schedule establishes fees for new
and existing programs and services offered by the City of Palo
Alto; and
WHEREAS, on December 11, 1995, the City Council took action
directing the City Clerk to establish the administrative procedures
necessary to create and maintain a Domestic Partners Registry
including appropriate fees; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has proposed participating in the
Domestic Partners Registry, and approval of the fee requires an
amendment to the Municipal Fee Schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE~ the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The 1995-96 Municipal Fee Schedule, adopted as
part of the 1995-96 budget, is hereby amended as shown on Exhibit
nAw, being page 2 of the Municipal Fee Schedule, relat~ve to City
Clerk's Fees. Exhibit "A" is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference.
