ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ·
AMENDING SECTION 16.20.200 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
-.............._ --~ --' CODE PERTAINING TO COMBINATION OF TYPES OF SIGNS .
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 16. 20. 200 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
n16.20.200 Combinatio~s of si~ns. In each
place of pusiness or occupancy t ere shall be
permitted the following combinations of signs:
(a)
(b)
(c)
(d)
Where there is a freestanding or roof sign,
either a flat or projec'ting wall sign shall
be permitted. · ·
Where there is no. freestanding or roof sign,
both a flat and a projecting wall sign shall
be permitted.
There shall be either a freestanding sign

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon
the expiration of 30 days from its passage.
