That the estimated. cost of said municipal improvement set
forth in said proposition is the sum. of Four l"I1111on Dollars
(;4 .. 000,,000), and the amount of the 1ndebtedness proposed to be
1.notlrred·for municipal improvement i.s the sum 0::' Four Mil-
lion Dollars ($4,OOO,OOO).

actdit1o~al hosp1tal facilities of the City of Palo Alto. To the
extent necessarj" a portion of the proceeds of the bonds may be
applied to addl t10ns to the exifl t.~.ng P&lo Alto Hospital and the
balance will be applied to the constrt4ct1on c>f a new building or
" buildings.
It 1s contemplated that tbe new hOsp1tal building or bul1d-
1ngs will be constructed upon land to be leas:ed to the City by
Leland Stanford Junior University .. and that t.he area so le,s,se:..i
will be adequate to provide foX" all reasonably contemplated future
additions, betterments.; extens1o=-~s arld improvements to the Hospi
tal, as well as prov1ding adequate vehicular park1p~ fac1lities.
It "is further contemplated that the new bu11d1r.g or buildi1::.gs
may' be built in conJunct1on w:1.th a hospital and med1cal school
