REGtlLATDJG P.ARKING ON CI:fi PROPBR'l'Y.
The Council or the City of Palo Altrt d0\t8 ordain as follows:
Section l. Di v1a1on 14 of Artieie 19 or Codif·ied Ordinance
Number 5 E:ereo;r is .amended by add+ng the::-eto a new section to be
designated. Section 19.60 and to. read as :f."ollowa:
i. Whenever the .City Mana.ger snal:L determine that
· the orderly, efficient conduct or th4!1 City's business
requires that parking or-s~nd1ng CJ~ vehicles on pro-.
perty owned or controlled by the C1ty be proh1bi·ted,
limited· or restricted, the C:ty Mana~)er shall have the
power and author1 ty to order signs t~) be erected and
posted or curb parkings to be placed indicating that
the parking of vehicles is th..q.s pro~Lbited, lim1~ed or
restricted. '
2. Whe·n signs or eurl> markings authorized by the
prov1si()ns of this section are 1n pl!~ce g1 ving notice
thereof .. no p•rson shall park or staz:1d any vehicle con
trary to the directions or provisions !or such signs or
curb markings.
