The Council of the City or ":tlo Alto does ordain as follows:
" . Section 1. That arterial stop signs be ere·cted at all
entrances oi'J5ana Avenue 1 ~~.>rest Averlue, Pi t1m1n Avenue, Fife
A,renue, Martin Aveoue 1 Somerset Place, and R1egent Place to Lincoln Avenue.
Section 2. That arterial stop signs b•~ erected at all
entrances "of Y!ih Street, Emerson Street, Ramona S1:;reet,. Bryant
Street, Gilman Street, Wav"rley Street, Cowpnr Street, Webster
Street, and Byron Street to Hamilton Avenue.
· St~et1on 3. That the City Ma:nager is hetreby directed to
cause ~ie necessary signs to be ~r~ected on all streets abovedescrib~~d to carry out the r>r,ovis1l:ma of th:tf:. ordinance.
Section 4. That any person violating a.ny provisions of thiS Orttinanee-ihall be deemed guilty ;Of a misdemeanor and
punishable as provided in Codified Ordinance No. 5 of the City
o": Palo Alto.
The above and foregoing ord1narlce was1 duly and regularly
introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Palo Alt:o on Monday, the 28th day or December, 1953, and
was tnereatter, on Monday, the 11th day or Jarnuary, 1954.,
duly and. regularly passed by the following vote:
