AN ORDINANCE OF THE Cl:'fi OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING. SEC'.riOl'f 102 OF _OKC1INANCE NO. 1277, THE
ADM:INISTRATIVE. CODE OF THE ·CITY OF PALO ALTO~ PRO
VIDING FOR NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETINGS.
The Council of the C1 ty of Palo Alto do1':!-S ordain as follows:
Sect~,on 1. Section 102 of Ord1nanc.e No. 12771 the Adminis
trative Code of the City of Palo Alto,Y hereby is amended to read
as follows:
r:Section 102. SPECIAL M&ETINGS.
Special meetings may be called at any time by the
Mayor, or at the request of' eight (8) councilmen, by a
written or oral notice g1ven to each.member at least
four {4) hours before the time. specified 1"'or the pro
posed meeting. Notice of such meeting shall also be
given personally or by mail at least four (4) hours
before the time specified for :su.ch meeting to each
local newspaper of general circulation, radio and
television station requesting notice in wr1ting.11
.The above and foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly intro
duced at a r-egular meetir1g of the Council of the City of Palo Alto
on Monday, the 9th day of November, 1953, and was therea.fter,
on Monday, the 23rd day of Nov-ember, 1953, duly and re·gularly
passed by the following vote:
