The Counc11 of the City of Palo Alt•) d~s ordain as i~ollo"s:
Sec. l. Section l3b is added to Art:lcle VIII of the
6'rd1nance c!ted in the title, be!ng Ordinan1~e No. 844 ado9ted on
January 13, 1941, to read as follows:
"Sec: 13b. Char~e·s for collec1;1on costs . In Heu
c,f anl' !)rov1iJione Of ne law relating thereto, tbe C1ty
Assessor 1n posting ass•essments to ';he tax ro11 -..:hen
collecting thereon, and the City Tl•nasurer in billing
9roi;>erty o•mers for the 9ayment of assessmente when
collecte~ by him, a;ay add to the a1111)unt or each 9rinc1-

ex;>1rat1on of thirty days from and after thi! date of its adoption.
