AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PAL<> Al.TO AMRNl>IllG
SECTION ~.02 OF.ORDINANCE NO. 1324 THE ZONING ORDINANCE."
The Council or the City or Palo Alto does ordain as ~ollows:
Section 1. That Section 302 of Article III of Ordinance No.
1324, the Dzon1ng Ordinance" or the City Of Palo Alb, being
the zoning.map or the City or Palo Alto, be amet'lded as ~ollows:
That the territory shown on the a ttached ma~ marlced ·Exhibit "A", racing Louis Road .and extending south and
Ea:st beyond t he present end of Louis Road to Adobe Creelc
and Charleston Road, now zoned R~3-G, Garden Apartment District, shall be r ezoned. to the fOllQW1ng districts:
(1) That pr operty located within Sterling Gardens No. 2, to R-l , Single Family Residence District.
(2) That pr operty which lies south of DrY Creek
to Adobe Creek and Charleston Road, to R-l :B-8 , Single Family Residence-Special Building Site
District.
Sai d territory :shall be shown on said zoning map and
zoned according to legends, symbols, notations, references,
and ot her matters shown thereon , which shall apply to and shall be 1n effect u~on all lends included Within the boun
daries of each and ever:y di strict ae $hOwn upon s aid Exhi
bit ~A" attached hereto as ~efined in OP.~inance No. 1324 of
the City of Palo Alto, as amended.
The above and foregoing ordinance was duly and r egul arl y
introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of t he City or
Palo Al to on Monday, t he 14th day of Sept,ember, 1953. and
was thereafter on Monday, the 28th day of Septe:riber, 1953,
duly ar.d regularly passed by the following , vote:
Byxbee, Cashel , Cor coran, Cumm1ng,s, Drysdale. Hanley,
.AYES : :!uston, Marshall, Mitchell, Po?.'te·r, Rodger~. Ruppenthal,
Simpson, Wickett.
NOES: None.
