ESTABLISHING PASSENGER LOADING ZONES IN
FRONT OP HO'!'XLS RAVI.NG A MINIMUM OF SIXTY
ROOMS, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1431 AND
ESTABLISHING NO PARKING ZONES ON ALMA
STREET.

The Council of the City ot Palo Alto DOES ORDAIN as follows:
Sectio11 l. Ordinance 1431 hereby 1s r·epealed.
Section 2. That paaeen·ger loading zon·~a , r.ot to exceed thir ty
fet..t in length, are hereby established at th·~ curb line in front
of hotels having a minimum of sixty rooms.
Sectlon i· That a "No Parking Zone~ S:lall be established on the ea.sterly sO.e of Almtl . Street, northerly .rrom California Avenue
to a 9oint a-pprox1mately 150 feet north of Waeh1ngto:l Avenue and on the westerly side or Alma Street southerl:T from California
Avenue to t he south line of Oregon Avenue.
The above and foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly intro
duced at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Palo Alto on Monday the 13th day of July, 1953, and wa1~ thereafter'.on Mon(&ay,
the 27th day or ,Tuly, 1953, duly and regular l y passed by the follow
in~ vote:
AYES: Byxbee, Cashel, Corcoran, Cu~~ings, Drysdale, Hanley, Huston,
.Marshall, Mitchell, Rodgers, Ruppent:hal, Simpson, Wickett.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Blshop, Porter.
