, Sect1on l. That an emergen~y eX1sta ror the passage of
th~.t1 ordinance for the ea1'et1 of t 'ht1 City of Palo Alto.
Section 2 . That arterial s t •:>i• signs be erected. on Bl
Doraao .A.venue at the intersection ·:>!'Waverley Street therewith,
requiring traf:t'1c to stop on enter.Lr1g Waverley Street.
Section 3. That arterial stop signs be erected on Stanford .
Avenue at the intersection of A.mhe~et Street therewith, requir
ing traffic to stop before entering said intersection.
The above and foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly
lntroduced at a regular meeting of t he Council of the City or
Palo Al to on Monday, ti'le ll th day <>f May, 1953, and on the same
date all rules were waived and the or dinance was adopted as an emergency ordinance by t he following vote:
AYES:
Bishop, Blois, Cashel, D1•y.sdale, Hill, HU8ton, Jackson,
Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Montrouil, Porter, Simpson, Wells.
NOES : None .
ABSENT: Wickett.
