Zoning ord1nance ot the C1 t:y of Palo Al to be amended to read as
follows:

boundar1ee ot d1strict1r. or by changing any other
prov1s1on t~reot whenmver the public neceaaity

such amendment by tho procedures set forth 1n
this article.

desiring to change the zone applicable to same,
ahall present and file with the City Clerk an
application (on standard form to be obtained frOtll the Building Inspector) indicat1t1g the"change
desired, together with a tee or $25.00, no part

Such application must be aigned by the owner or
owners or more than 251' ot the property within
the zone of intereet and sharl contain a list

shall be termed to mean those whose names appear aa owner:J thereof on th' assessment roll of the

·If the classification of any property 1s to. be
changed an ordinance aball accordingly be passed
and thereuPOn the City ~neer shall change the
official Zoning Map in conformity therewith.
Change of District ~on the Initiative or the citr ~ounc11 or the !arming commise!on: The
City Councll may by a liilnute order request the
Planning Commission to conaider any propoaed
change in the zone claeriir1cation ot any
proper.ty; or · the Planning Collll11ss1on may of 1 ts
own 1n1t1at~ve consider such a change. In elther
caee th.e Planning Co1DD11s s1on shall p.roceed as
though an appli cation f o·r change had been filed
with tt:ie City Clerk as provided in Sec. 27. 03
hereof, except that no notices need be mailed
by the City Clerk to property owners nor to me11bere or the City Council or Planni'Dg Coa:misaion.
