ORDINANCB ESTABLISHING PARKING MB'l'l!RS, CITY
P~O LOT -BRYANT CTRB!T AND FOREST AVENUE,
~-AMINI>ING ORDD\ANCB NO. 1059·
-The Cou:.\cii o~ the City of Palo Alto DOES ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2 (b) be addled to Ordi
ance No. 1059, to read a~ fo!bwe:
{b) That pa'rk1ng meters be installed on
all par J.."1ng spaces on the City or Pal.o Alto
off-street parking lot located on the
weste~ly corner of Bryant Street and Forest Avenue , and h~ving a frontage also on Ramona
Street .
Section 2. That a sub-section (f) be added to
Section 4 of ordinance No. 1059, to re~d as follows :
(f) The parking 1i~it in the parking spaces
described in Section 2 {b) of this ordinance is established at four (4) hours, nnd t~.at the
meters i n said parking space~ be sot for 4-hour
parki~g, and that the meter r ate be 1¢ for 12 minutes or 5¢ per hour.
Secti on -3. The Cit y Manager is he~by .dlrected to
cause t he necessary meter s t o be installed, s!gns · to be erected, and markings on t he pavement to be mt.de, to carry out the pr o-
. visions or this ordinance.
Sect ion 4. Any person v1olat1ng any of the prov~s1ons , or t5!s o~inance shall be deemed guilty or a mis
demeanor. and punishable as prov1ded i n Sect1or1 16 of Ordinance No. ~1059 relating to parking meter s.
The-. a'bove and foregoing ordinance was di.:ly and
regularly introduced at. a regular meeting of t he Council or
the 'City of Palo Alto on Monday, the 8th day of October, 1951, and was thereafter on Monday, the 22nd day of October, 1951,
adopted as an emergency ordinance by the following vote:
