HomeMy WebLinkAbout1997-04-22 Ordinance 4410i • ORDINANCE NO. 4410 ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING SECTION 18.08.040 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL CODE (THE ZONING MAP) TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS 400 EMERSON STREET FROM PC (4238) TO CD-C(P) The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. A. The Planning Commission, after duly noticed public hearing held January 29, 1997, has recommended that section 18.08.040 (the Zoning Map] of the Palo Alto Municipal Code be amended as hereinafter set fort:; and B. The City Council, after due conside.ation of the recommendation, finds that the proposed amendment is in the public interest and will promote the public health, safety and welfare. SECTION 2. Section 18.08.040 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, the "Zoning Map," is hereby amended by changing the zoning of that certain property known as 400 Emerson Street (the "subject propert)'") from °PC -Planned Community District (Ord. 4238)" to "CD- C(P) Downtown Commercial Pedestrian Combining District." The subject property is shown on the map labeled Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3.
