ORDINANCE Of THE COUNC !!1 OF THEC.f'I'Y OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1980-81 TO
PROVtDB ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR 'rHE INST.l\.LL_'\'l'ION OF
A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT TH8 INTERSECTION ~F

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 23,
1980, did adopt. a budget for fiscal year 1980-81; and
WH8REAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to install a traffic sig
naJ at the in.tersectiori of Hanover/Hillview/Porter.; and

NOW, THEREfORE, the Cotinc1l of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows;
SECllON 1, The sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) is ap

Acquisition and Construction Subprogram

SECTION 2. 'l'he Counc i 1 finds th at th is project is categor i ca 11 y
exemp1 for the purpose of the California Environmental Quality Act
and no environmental assessment is necessary.
SEC'l'ION 3. This ordinarice shall become effective imrnediat<~ly as
provided in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
