ORDINANCE OF ·rHE COUNCif, OF 'rHE CI'J.1 Y OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING S8CTION 18.08.040 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE (THE ZONING MAP) TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF
PROPERTY KNOWN AS 1100 WELCH ROAD FROM OR TO RM-5
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does OROAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 18.08.040 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code,
the "7.on ing Map," is hereby amended by changing the zoning of certain
property known as 1100 Welch Road from OR (Office Research District
Regulations) to RM-5 (High Density Multi.ple-family Residence District
Regulations) as shown on the map attached hereto and marked Exhibit.

SECTION 2. The Council hereby finds that thi~;: change will have
no s ig-n1 ficant adver-se environmental impact..
SECTION 3. The Council finds that Lhe rezoning of the above
property~-ls~ consistent. with the adopted Comprehensive P1an of: the
City of Palo Alto.
SECTION 4. This ora1nance shall become effective upon the com
rnenceiTIITT1t-of the thirty-first day afte:r the day of its passage.
